Inti Prom Night 08

Late post, yeah i know. With its theme, Midnight in Paris, it turned out to be a pretty swell night after all, considering the fact that i had my wonderful friends with me and also a lovely date ;). Food was great but i only helped myself with a small serving, yeah RM69, burned, just like that. Had roti bom telur to make myself content later on that night. Turns out that i was one of the lucky winners who won in the lucky draw but too bad i was busy camwhoring with Warren & Yang outside the ballroom, so...... i guess i wasn't really lucky afterall. My prize? A pendrive with God knows what else was there in store for me. A pendrive, sounds nostalgic. I guess fate wants to reimburse me with what i had lost a few weeks back. Up to this day i still wonder whether Inti used em lost and found items to use as part of the lucky draw prizes. Yang was stunning, Warren was casually smart, Aaron was business bright, Pei Ying was gorgeous, Hui Hui was beautiful, Von was sizzling hot, and me...like a damned fool. Feels as if any moment i would be reported to the manager of Segafredo, Zanetti, for skipping work. =s Self Consolation: At least Kheng Joo looks retardedly confused as usual, so there. Not forgetting my sister and Yang, who both i voted for the prom queen and king thingy, to be nominated. Well, i DO have influence after all. =D. Peiying won the best hairdo for the night. Couldn't disagree on that . ;)

And now, the pics:

Happy Times~

College life, ever so boring as we watched pig dogs & seashells walk across us at every corner we take,at the top of every floor we hike. Classes, were yet the same; the usual silent atmosphere. Frantically waiting for time to pass by as we sat in to listen to the lectures. Ear in, ear out, revise, forget, last minute revision, and poof; all the knowledge forgotten until God knows when we are required to actually put it into application in reality....or just learn some other new foreign format and get things over with.

Activities, activities & more activities. Most of the students wouldn't even be bothered about it. Heck, i doubt they even got to know about it. Boring old beaver uncle sitting down at the canteen, waiting for money to come in so that he could import expensive wood from Thailand to munch on. And with the leftover cash, heads off to Tesco Extra to get his daily supplies and start cheating our money all over again. Yet another one of life's great cycles. Above all that, i've regained back my old eye-blinking habits and my lame skills. Great huh?

Neeways here are some pics of happy times before the situation got all emo and shit. Ta-daa~

Happy times fishing for chocolates in college with my partner in crimeHappy times eating with my machas, adding another 3 kg to my current weight

Happy times getting chocolates from itchies (although it ain't valentines, im looking forward for more =D )

Happy times checking out a photo printer cum mobile downloading gadget thingy at mamak at 2 in the morning

Happy times group studying in my oh-so-messy room, prep exam

And happy times looking at an insect which piqued my interest after toilet session-ing

PS: I'm glad that i told you today. I feel eased from the burden. And yes, I do miss you.

INTI Inter-Campus Debate Championship 2008: Day 3

Finally, the effin last post of the whole debating thingy. Damn lazy to blog so until now nia can finish. I would like to thank all of my readers again for keeping up with me and not forgetting my caption lovers as well. Finally, ladies and gentlemen, i would clearly state my stand forever strong which is we should take Herbalife for a nutritious and healthy lifestyle.

The park

The third and final sequel to this ominous event which was all thanks to Aaron...but we enjoyed it too in the end la. Ha ha. Woke up bloody early to see my room being invaded by Danesh & Daryl as they wanted to take a private bath in our lovely suite. Headed off late to the debating hall as i didnt really care about the outcome of the day. Because we were already booted out d mer, wakkalawali. Headed there to have the same bloody breakfast again, this time 3 nasi lemaks instead of 2. Was effin hungry and running out of orange juice for my herbalife shake. Yes, IT followed me to Nilai. Ha ha. Went back into the hall for the announcement of the four semi-finalist for the debating competition which were ICSJ 1, IIUC 3, ICSK & IIUC 6. And the matches were between IIUC 3 vs ICSJ 1 & ICSK vs IIUC 6. So we were watching and criticising and making new friends with the vinegars & pakistanis in the process. Friendships. Jeng Jeng Jeng. And the finalists were..... ICSJ & IIUC 6. Woooooo congrats! Was rushing for time, although time was plentiful on our hands. So we left the place early, uninterested on the outcome of the match, got back to our dorms, saw Karen the Sabah chica on our way back, pack up and waited for the bus to arrive. Made the bus our own home as there were only 14 passengers in the 44 seater. Not long after, we arrived at the airport at exactly 3 pm in the afternoon. Our flight was at 4.30...fuck. So we waited for a miserably 1 1/2 hours to enter the plane. While waiting, Daryl & I played catch cock and Yang & 1 played milf hunting. A few of our many itchy games we do in our past time. Ha ha. Met Karen again, ooooh. This time i managed to struck up a conversation with her, and we talked about......ntg. Potongggg. Enter plane, not much milfs this time but ok ok la. Reached Penang airport at about 6.15 pm. And went tuk kiu with Warren & Aaron after that.

What i learned during the trip:
i) I learned to gain the confidence to speak up, but was still stumbling upon my words all the time.
ii) I learned how to speak Japanese & Thai thanks to Yang.
iii) I learned that vinegars are good at debating.
iv) I learned that Nilai got a lot of seasides.
v) I learned that there are girls that play basketball at night
vi) I learned that dropping egg tofu on the ground can be very embarrassing.
vii) I learned that howling in Inti Nilai at midnight would NOT attract the hostel guard.
viii) I learned that inside cheap outside not.
ix) I learned that lala's poses evolves from time to time.
x) And finally, i learned that i should bring ps2 & laptop the next time i visit Inti Nilai

INTI Inter-Campus Debate Championship 2008: Day 2

Yes, finally writing about day 2. Sorry Yang for the delay. Blame it all on my fucking internet connection which got me effin bored for the past 2 days. Ha ha, and yes, you're the only kiasu guy in our class so therefore i shall start studying after u study so remember to tell me ok? Pundek.

4th INTI Inter-Campus Debate Championship

Woke up damn early in the morning just to prepare ourselves for the competition. Not to mention the continuous rattling on my dorm door which grazed the surface of my eardrums and caused me to wake up from my 'beauty sleep'. Was having a kinky dream too. Fuck. Yang and I got changed into our formal attire a.s.a.p after taking a warm shower in our luxurious suite. Ha ha. Syok gila. Headed out of the hostel to meet the rest of the gang and our beloved and supportive teachers as well. Kaneh i thought i going to law court or something, everyone was wearing black and white, especially the girls and Kin Phun even brought a coat along, while i was wearing just checkered shirt that made me look FAT. =( Nvm la, I am fat after all, no denying in that. Nyahaha! So then, we walked walked walked along the road leading to the debating hall which was across the main road outside the campus which was only accessible by an overhead bridge. Not that i'm complaining because its an overhead bridge, its because we had to go in circles in one building and then reach the overhead bridge and then go in circles again to reach the debating hall. But its alright as we had our revenge as Warren barricaded the place with chairs and dustbins and notice boards as we left on Sunday. Great Success! *claps* Reached the designated place, surprisingly we were early as there were only a few people around, aside from the FOLA (Faculty Of Liberal Arts) members and event coordinators of the competition. And so we waited patiently outside the main hall until everyone got here. Damn a lot of ninja's and vinegars who participated in the debating competition. Most of them who are from Inti's campuses in Sabah and Sarawak. And not to mention the seasides too. =) I was scoping this seaside from Sabah, Warren got his eyes on the winners of the Competition, who were from Subang Jaya (P**-C****), and Su Yang had his pupils constantly fixated on milf nigga's asses. LOL. As for Aaron, he was busy being scoped by the chao ah kua. Gayboy playmates. And so, the introduction started, president came to gave his speech, some 'professional' debater by the name of Yunus came to give in his speech as well. I didn't know he was malay until i heard his name being called. Haha. So there again, stereotyping behind peoples back, my personal specialty.

IICP = Inti International College Penang

Reserve: Danesh

After the long and bothersome speeches, we had breakfast outside, prepared by the members of FOLA. Had two packets of nasi lemak and a few desserts. Then it was time for round one against the IIUC 4. The motion for this match was 'free condoms for prisoners' and we, IICP 1 were the opposition. Our opponents were pretty good and we admitted our loss. Justin (Chau Ah Kua) was uber good and he won the best speaker for the match. We lost by 2 miserable marks. The maximum marks was 350 and we got 302-304. Quite good i'd say for our first time. =D

Ah Hin an chua?

IIUC 4 (u.p.s.k.i.r.t)

Warren scoping

Our second match of the day was against Frank, Simon & Ann Marie from IIUC 7. Another formidable opposing team for us. =s The motion for this match was ' this house believes that Israel should not give in to the demands of Hezbola'. And we were Government. Immediately after the motion was given out, we all tekan like shit. Wat the hell is hezbola? Who's bola? I asked myself. Thanks to our factual fucker, Su Yang, we had info on it but we were limited. However, our opponents had the upper hand as Frank had a degree in political science. Uh oh. So the facts were already in the palm of his hand. In addition to that, he even said that reading news was one of his hobbies, unlike Warren and I. Again, we lost this match by 1 mark. =S Damn potong by this point.

IIUC 7: Frank, Ann-Marie & Simon

Stress

Su Yang looking at....

Round 3 was uber disappointing as we had to go up against the same opponents from round 2. I mean, who would want to go up against the same people. Its like we know already how they would speak and how they would approach us. The eff-ed up thing is IIUC 7 did not hit us with much POI's ( point of information ). So it was kind of a cold war...again. And Frank went on giving his 'history lessons' during the debate... again! LOL! Our motion for the third match was ' this house does not support foreign ownership over key local industries. And we were the opposition for the second time, which was ok la, since we had a lot to say being the opposition. And.....yes... we lost...again! Again by one mark. Sucky man. After the third match, we were totally disappointed and demotivated. Especially Yang and Warren, who got extremely hyper at night. You know, I know, we know. =)

"You again?"

"(shatap la pundek)"

The final match of the day was against GIIC. They wore super bloody smart attires with coat and tie and all. Warren got too potong so therefore I replaced him . Thanks to him also because if i did not seize this opportunity to participate in, then my trip here would not be worthwhile, aside from having fun at night. So I thank you again, my itchy brother. The motion for this final match was ' this house believes that states should fund for teenage abortion'. AGAIN, we were the opposition. >=E. But we had the upper hand, as who wants to fund teenage abortion!? I mean, its like encouraging rapists and teenagers to engage in sexual activities more often and without condom. A citation from a condom brand which i forgot, 'just shoot it'. And again... we lost. Fuck. Can't stand it i tell u. Its like lottery, we can NEVER win or maybe 1% nia. Out of the 4 fucking miserable matches, we lost 4 fucking times. Fuck that. Hell yeah. So we returned miserably to our dorms to get changed and out for dinner. We joined Mdm Irene and Mdm Kok for dinner. Not to mention Daryl's 'slip of the tongue' countless times in front of our 2 lecturers. The funny thing is, they don't mind at all! Whoooot!!!!

" A vewee gud mornin "

Kel: Matahai...

" I Resign!"

"And therefore ladies & gentlemen..."

"...I'm hungry"

" Lovely & Precious timekeeper..."

"I like-a sex"

GIIC vs IICP 1

The night began as we started with a few matches of pool. I had more form this time. =D. After pool it was straight off to Dota session for us at a nearby internet cafe. And I'm here to reaffirm my stand again ladies and gentlemen, that Inti Nilai has EVERYTHING. Me, Warren and Daryl against Jaaidev, Aaron, Kin Phun and Su Yang. And....we won! Thanks to the guidance of my A1 teacher, Warren Loh and his undying support. Me and Warren even agreed to a treaty as to not pick on Yang as he still was a newbie in Dota, but will soon improve like his pool skills. Yes my dear friend Warren, the old generation will still prevail!..just need more thinking nia.

INTI Inter-Campus Debate Championship 2008: Day 1

Ah yes, the long awaited, long anticipated & final event of the 7 weeks semester break has finally reached. 3 teams were sent by IICP ( Inti International College Penang ) to participate in the following event which was held at Inti Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. After only 5 weeks of practice, 1 practice a week, we ended up digging our own graves as we bravely fought through ends and odds at the Inter-Campus Debate Championship. T'was a Friday, 18th July 2008. The teams and supervisors met up in college at approximately 10.30 a.m to wait for the bus for the airport. Had a 'light' meal to fill in my tummy, as well as my usual yet trusty Herbalife shake for breakfast. Plane left at 12.15. Reached Inti Nilai around 1.30 p.m. From what my fellow debaters and I experienced, Inti Nilai was really the real deal. The real definition behind a campus life. Well, there was nothing less I would expect from a University College. Yep, Inti Nilai had it all, Olympic-sized swimming pools, 1 big football field and 2 basketball courts. Not to mention the netball courts which IIUC ( Inti International University College ) students would gather at night to spectate the netball matches played by girls from opposing colleges, such as I don't know. Aside from all of that, like my perverted peers Yang and Warren said, every 10 metres or so got seasides. So there, facilities, girls and food. Oh yeah, not forgetting the food. Compared to Inti Penang, Inti Nilai's canteen had a variety of food ranging from western food to halal food to waffles to hawker food and finally, to NON-halal food. Yep, Pork, Babi. The food in the canteen was also sold at a very affortable price. Yes, it was bloody hell cheap compared to the so-called 'cheap food' prepared by Big Bite catering services which monopolized the whole canteen of Inti Penang. As quoted by the beaver uncle who manages the cashier, " wa lang hor lu teh-ih hor eh keh chi liao".( we give u the best prices already) FUCK that. Inti Nilai had a mart of its own too. =)

Moving on, we headed to our respected rooms, only to find ourselves lying in a 5-star hotel type rooms which included a TV, ceiling fan, 2 wardrobes, 2 desks, 2 beds, air-cond, a fridge and a bathroom. WOOT. It was IDEAL campus life. Should have brought along my lappie and PS2 to further enjoy the trip to its max, sigh. I shared a room with Yang, my trusty cock buddy. Aaron with Warren, Danesh with Kin Phun, Daryl with Jian Shinn, Hui Hui with Peiying, and finally the dynamic jovial duo, Yusuf and Jaaidev. And the name of my room is Fuchsia, much alike Koga's Gym in pokemon. LOL. Apparently, only Yusuf's room, Warren's room, and my room had the word 'luxurious' written all over it. As for the rest, they had em' normal hostel rooms.

(sorry Yang, just HAD to post it up)

Went to explore the campus while we had our lunch in the uber-huge canteen. I dropped my egg on the floor too. ='( We then returned to our respected dorms while waited for 4.00p.m as we had a final debate training before we battled it all out in the championship. Met up with our dear ol' buddy Jan too. =) Caught up with her as she was about to leave for her uncle's place. Met up with Jay (Jaaidev) at the bus stop as he told us where to find more food stalls and entertainment centres. And so, we headed out of the campus. It was not that far, really as it was only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop and a 15 minute walk from our dorms to reach our destination. Fulaamaakk. We had a fucking huge surprise when we reached there. Coffee shops with so much non-halal food. (they even had bak kut teh and curry fish head), a mamak, a 24 hour convenience store, a burger stall, a lok lok van, 2 internet cafes, and an all-pool and foosbal cafe. WTFKNNMCCB. It was a dream came true. And so, we headed off for a few games of pool first and then had late dinner together with the rest of the gang at a nearby coffee shop. After the all the fun and excitement, we headed back to our dorms once again and rest up a bit. Went into Warren's room to see the rest of the gang there playing chor tai ti and dota. LAN. Thanks to Daryl and Jian Shinn's notebooks which became the only source of entertainment in our dorms. Later on, we met up at a sort of study block which we once again went over the designated topics which were about to come out for the debate competition. Headed back to our dorms once again to rest up for the night and replenish our energy.

Kerachut Trip

And here i am, again, writing posts just to fill up my free time. Well, not exactly free la but i have to write my daily rantings and happenings down or else it'll accumulate on my what-to-do-bar in the back of my mind. Anyways, Yen's cousin, Gale, and her boyfriend, Julian, came down from New Zealand to celebrate Gale's birthday party at Maple Gold, some fancy family club cum restaurant. So went there to makan and then headed off to find Jan, Woen and Grace at D'Joint since Jan came bec for a visit from Nilai. Arthur, Ping, Hazel, Sean and Colin joined us later and chat chat chat till it was late. Fetched Yen and co from Island Plaza to Momo for a few drinks. Was then accompanied by Ryan and Warren later onwards. Honestly, from my perspective, Momo has officially turned into a bloody gay club. As usual, walked in, looked around, turned eagle eye skill on to scope girls but to no avail, only managed to see some usual milfs seasides. Most of the time, bloody gays were throwing themselves across the dance floor to another partner. It's as if their cock has a mind of its own. Alike Yang. Lol. Magnetized penis is the term i shall give to it. Anyways as Gale pulled Fen and Yen to the dance floor to dance to her favourite beats, me and Julian were discussing about not being worried as there were too many gays on the dance floor to even consider on picking up on the girls. Went back early, fetch them home, yada yada yada, end of the night.

As stated in the title of this post, we planned a trip to kerachut on the 15th of July, 08. Went there by boat, for the very first time in all of my past adventures to kerachut. Went there more than ten times already but managed to sit boat only once as my funds were limited. Anyways, i found a new fishing spot as recommended by the boatman which was ONLY ACCESSIBLE by boat. Yeah, more money flow out, fuck. RM250 for 4 hours, konon half-day. But i didn't go la, of course, or not i'll regard myself as a DF d. Went there to fish, but got lazy later on. So i didn't manage to snag any at the end of the day. =( Anyways i brought along my new beach mat and carlsberg umbrella, as I planned and portrayed the layout of the trip in my mind. Gale and Julian changed to their swimming suits and went swimming in the sea. KANEH, her swimming bikini damn nice le, but by the looks of it, surely pricy as well. Wanted to buy one as an 'investment' in the near future. LOL. Finally gave in to my desires and went swimming in the river. Got bitten by the fucking kuai lan small fish which resembled a yellow puffer, but luckily it wasn't one, or not my 'Majestic Eagle' would be bitten off. Unfortunately for Julian, he got stung by a jellyfish while swimming in the sea. He had a terrible burn on his hand. So as usual, Dr Kel recommended some ointment which is the leaves of the Sea Morning Glory plant which grew around the beach. Convenient? VERY. The burned healed in about 2 hours or so. After all was done, we hiked down the mountain and headed back home.

What Kelvin means

What Kelvin Means
You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life.
You are also a keeper of knowledge - meaning you don't spill secrets or spread gossip.
People sometimes think you're snobby or aloof, but you're just too deep in thought to pay attention to them.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are very hyper. You never slow down, even when it's killing you.
You're the type of person who can be a workaholic during the day... and still have the energy to party all night.
Your energy is definitely a magnet for those around you. People are addicted to your vibe.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

It's sooo true, although it might be hard to admit, but its true, and I'm glad about it.

Fishing History

Fishing......is a bloody influence. Yes, it is true. Who'd knew that a 'boring sport' to most people, especially teenagers who claim that it is an 'uncool' thing would catch the attention and interest of so many people. Well, not exactly a lot thought, i just find it amusing to think that there are still people willing to wait all day long just to land a fish. A waste of time? Definitely. But look on the bright side, it is the thrill of catching a fish that draws in the excitement. Proof? Reuben and Su Yang. =) I just looove the atmosphere while fishing , not because it is quiet and peaceful, but because I am able to spend time reflecting upon my life, my actions, my thoughts, the road i am headed along now, and where I will end up in the future. It is all just so....puzzling.There, killing two birds with one stone. First, you fish. Second, you think. And in the process of delving into your own thoughts, suddenly u feel an electrifying and shaky moment when the motherfuckers start to bite! Great Success! Unless you happen to be as professional as me in pre-mature unhooking. But don't worry, i trust that most people aren't so careless...unlike me. So don't sweat it.

So anyways, heres how my fishing influence began.

2000- The Milennium Year

Was standard 4 that time, if memory serves. Like any other ordinary kid, yes i was once an ORDINARY kid, i enjoyed playing games. Computer games to be precise. Yes, loads and loads of games. I even came across a game called 'strip fighter' where the 2 players duel like the normal street fighter games but the loser has to strip...the character in the game and not the player itself, mind you. So one day, i discovered Harvest Moon 64 in my emulator king. Was recommended by a very old time best friend, Marcus Lim. (yeah, he's a Lim too) =D Got hooked on to it not long after. Didn't know what came over me but all of the sudden, I had this funny feeling that earning money was fun. Sad to say once i faced and began to understand reality in this oh-so-very harsh world that we live in, i got discouraged to the max. Anyways back to the topic, like i said earlier, I loved that game. In Harvest Moon 64, we are able to earn 300$ by just selling one fish. And in a day, we are able to sell 3 fishes, if we are lucky that is. Somehow i managed to get myself 3 per day as i used the F2(save) and F4(load) keys repetitively. Yes, I love being a perfectionist in games. The urge to obtain each and every single item, summoning, treasure chest, etc etc in whatsoever game that i play. So what caught my interest in fishing? It is the 'cuteness' in the image of the fish in Harvest Moon 64. Weird huh? Just a silly image of a blue little fish in a 2D game.

Yep, that little thing there was what triggered the angler spirit in me. Simply amusing.

Moving on, soon enough i got over the Harvest Moon 64 period and moved onto Pokemon. (still a fan of both though) Later on, I started mixing with my Music & Drama society president/ ganja friend , Ivan Dass and Navin Giant. Frequently, I would listen to their conversations as they talked about who land the biggest muthafucka, the best fight, Melven Mar's superb fishing skills as we hanged out at mamak stalls. Then, my Tuition Teacher for Biology who is also my ex-troop leader for my sea scout troop in high school, Kuan Shern, taught me how to fish with only a fishing line, a weight, a hook and bait. Throughout our past fishing endeavors with only a fishing line, i managed to snag in one fish, out of the 6-11 fishing trips that we went. Sad huh? Later on, I met Reuben in Form 5, year 2007. Well, its not like i didn't know him before that. I just didn't know him well enough. So soon enough he took me on a fishing trip, with real rods this time! I enjoyed it thoroughly, although i did not catch any. We went on several fishing trips later on and soon enough i began to gain enough experience to be able to fish on my own. But we still went together la, member mer. He taught me how to tie hooks, tie the main line and so forth. So therefore, he is considered my fishing guru, much like the ones in pokemon who gives us a old rod, a good rod and finally, a super rod. Much much later onwards, Ivan invited me to join them for fishing. He took me to Beach Street to purchase my very own fishing rod. My beloved, a red Berkley's Cherrywood and my reel, Abu Garcia. Had Stren for my first line. Started to join Ivan, Navin, Melven Mok and Melvin Mar on their fishing trips in Tambun, Sungai Petani, and all around Penang. Thanks Ivan, you taught me a lot. Later onwards, I lost contact with Ivan as he had moved to Kuala Lumpur to study. So, it was only me and Reuben, on our usual fishing trips. We would go on his Jaguh to explore new fishing spots around Penang. Not forgetting Edward, Angelin, Jiang Hua, and my sister, for taking me along on their fishing trips as well. Adrian came into the picture later on. Didn't know that he too shared a passion for fishing. So there we were, a party of three.

Later on, more and more people began to like fishing, thanks to my influence, and also due to an interest of their own. Yen even got me an 8 foot Abu Garcia fishing rod for my 17th birthday. Thanks sweetie =). Su Yang joined in 2008, after I got to know him better in college. Funny guy he is. Soon after, I have people, friends, asking me to bring them along on my fishing trips. I will bring y'all, i promise! =)

Jan's Farewell

Yeah i guess its been 8 days since this event occured. But le, not to late to post it up i hope. This is to our dear friend, Janice Lim Suleen, who left for Inti Nilai in Negeri Sembilan to further her studies in economics. (well, not really further but to start on her scholarship course) We will miss u badly Jan, especially me, Von, Warren, Su Yang, Shaun, Aaron, Colin, Cecilia and Yeong Khang + ur other close Penang Friends.

1st July 08

Me, Von & Ping headed over to Jan's place to bid her a final farewell before she left for K.L. Had lotsa fun there as we began to reminisce on the past 5 months together. Not to mention Jan attracted lots of mosquitos while our visit to the playground. (means u're getting more fat cause fat is sweet, heheh) After that, we went for our favourite fried tau kua stall. The uncle was surprised to see us, the usual customers, as the 'agonizing', yes i'll repeat that, AGONIZING holidays drifted us away from each other. We all had 1 tau kua each, (sad eh) as it was about time for the stall to close. We still had a shard of happiness from enjoying that one tau kua together. (I'm starting to feel like some fairy tale author, fuck) Anyways, headed over to Jan's place and lepak-ed in her room until it was about time for her to leave. Bid one last farewell and we left. Take Care Jan!! And eat well!! lol...

P.S: Von & Ping, don't cry!

Steamboat Surprise!

As usual i woke up early. Guess its my nature to sleep late like a night owl and wake up early like a rooster. Had to fetch Yen to Youth Park for some SPCA kid camp thingy. So fetched her, dropped her there and i headed home to sleep again.

Woke up again to attend a function at G-Hotel. It was 11.45a.m. Parked my beloved Vitara somewhere along Gurney Drive and went in. I was about to attend a health conference by Herbalife, a health product i started taking a few days ago. Was greeted by Richard and Bibiane and met Clint Grimford later on. From what i can see, he was a friendly guy and emphasized on building bonds with customers while running the business. Herbalife is a health company which helps people to lose weight, gain weight or maintain their weight. The company, followed by a group of professional and experienced scientists such as the guy who made men's savior and a woman's best friend, the viagra, makes health products in the form of drinks, hair products, daily wash and so on. I was rather impressed by the products and thought to myself, "this doesn't seem to be em' usual boring health companies", so what the heck, i took part myself.

At the conference...

Mr Ali giving his recipe...

We had a short lunch break in between to try the shakes they made. The shakes are actually replacement meals which are supposed to make you feel full with only 200 calories and an added boost to your vitality. So far it has worked for me! =D During the break, Richard and Bibiane introduced me to the person who made the delicious shakes, Mr.Ali. He was a plump Indian, not much taller than myself with a slightly bald head and a thick mustache. He took me to the kitchen where they made all the shakes and taught me how to fully maximize the effect of the shakes while adding to its flavor.

After the conference, I returned to fetch Yen back from Youth Park at 3.00.pm and I headed home after that. Apparently Wan Yuen was down with a fever and Jasmine became a pedophile as she tried to attract all the kids there. LOL! And so, I got myself prepared as the much anticipated event of the day was just around the corner. Warren and Yang dropped by and we followed Warren's car to fetch Janice and Von to 'Town Steamboat Restaurant' opposite the UMNO building for dinner.

We stuffed ourselves until we were bloated. First one to K.O was Yang followed by Janice and Von then it was down to Warren and I. As usual, the epitome of gluttony and greed did their job by trying to finish up all the leftover as every 100gram of food wasted was charged RM5.00. In the end, Warren gave up and went over to get some ice cream for us. So the epitome of gluttony was defeated by the epitome of greed! GREAT SUCCESS! However there were still lots of leftover to be done. Therefore we came up with 3 methods to get rid of the food:

i) Yang rolled a plate full of food into tissue paper and rolled it down the toilet.
ii) Hid under the soup.
iii) Squish the food between plates to compress it.

Von and Yang had their own methods though. Yang bravely found the courage to pick a plate full of bishops nose ( chicken butt) to the toilet and flush it down. He did it so obvious summor! What a guy he is. And Von, who threw the remaining slices of ham under the table. Another successful method well done. After the meal, we went for a pool session at midlands.

Feeling shy...

This was before he couldn't finish his food...

Em girls...

Greed and Gluttony...

Method 1...

Hard shot...

Soft shot...

Dick shot...

Managed to scare the shit out of Janice as i gave her our groups baptism, the 'Wall Scare'. So we played pool as usual. Taught Jan how to hit the ball as well. =D Ka-Yin and Anna joined us sometime later. After Chrix came to fetch Janice and Von to Anandas Bhagwan for supper in Tanjung Bungah, we left to find Ka-Yin & Anna @ Baskin Robbins. Anna was kindly treated by a free ice cream after she dropped hers. =s After a while, i received an sms from Von.

Von: Hey i left my keys in Warren's car. Can pass to me? Pls!

And when i let Warren see the message, he erupted and said the oil price sentence again, Badawi kong petrol no kor chit liao.

@ Baskin Robbins...

After the ice cream session, Anna headed home in her CRV and we headed off to Anandas to pass Von her stuff. There we met Shaun, Colin, Ping and Woen. Greeted them, and left for netcity for Warcraft session. Ka-Yin and Warren introduced me to Battle Tanks 8.45, a new map in Warcraft. During the first game, i got owned like shit by Ka-Yin. I teamed up with Warren, my A1 teacher and my game tutor. All of the sudden, Wendell, our college mate and Kelvyn Yeang, my cousin's cousin and also a famous guitarist approached us for a match of battle tanks. So after our second game we had a match with them, they were quite good especially that TABBYcat guy. Knn, keep on come find me nia. In the end, we won as we had err...good teamwork? The flier, the fighter and the tanker.

GG...

The smirk of victory...

Warren as..The Fighter: Fucked most of the players up.
Ka-Yin as...The Tanker: Heal our hp and fuck other players up.
Me as..........The Flier : Go around and fuck their Control Points up.

Feels good to have wings! We left Netcity at 3.30 a.m. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Yang WATCHED us play the whole 4 1/2 hours patiently. *Claps*

Hatyai Trip: Day 2

Started off the day by waking up at 8.30 am. Fucking sleepy. Anyways the first agenda of the day was the morning market, and so we left for it. It was...the usual market scenario, where u see old aunties try to bargain for lower prices and such. The thing is, the markets here are the exact opposite of the markets in Penang. In terms of food prices. Example, fruits here are cheaper than vegetables. Opposite in Penang. Poultry here is more expensive than seafood, also the opposite in Penang. Intriguing? Definitely. Varieties of fishes, spices and vegetables can be seen in the marketplace. The vege are MUCH MUCH fresher than the vege in Penang. And everything is still in its handpicked condition, example: the pepper which is still in its bunch and look like green grapes but only bean-sized, very young gingers which are still stuck to their stalks.. and so on. The fish, hoo-boy. The siakaps (sea bass) here are twice the size of that in Penang, and of cheaper price too. We bought some pomelos and nona fruits in the market to bring back to Penang.

Em' fruits...

Em' veggie...

Em' fishes...

After that we went for lunch at the forever anticipated bak kut teh stall, more of a whole coffee shop to itself if you ask me. It was not bad la, i still prefer the bak kut teh back home as the bak kut teh there only got bak kut, without the intestines, the mushrooms and so on. But it tasted very herbal-like. So there.

Herbal lunch...

Went to shop for some clothes with dad. Helped him to get a pair of jeans and 2 pairs of shirt. The price was affordable, not too bad compared to those of in Gurney and so on. As for myself, i got a polo-t worth 650 baht. The fucked up thing about the clothes in Hatyai was its length. I mean, they make as if 6 footers lived there, when the average height of Thai people from what i see, are shorter compared to Malaysians. Shopped till 2 and i only managed to get that one shirt for myself.

Headed for lunch at another authentic Thai restaurant which was quoted to be popular among locals. Heck, not today though. And again, we had pork, fish, 2 types of vegetables and coconut. By the way i forgot to mention that every meal we had coconut except for the pork porridge one.

Le Restaurant...

Pork, Stir-Fried Crab meat, Fried Fishes...

Kerabu & Petai...

After the meal, we headed off to Hatyai's very own Tesco! To think that Tesco has a branch here as well. Again i headed off in search of food. The Shishamo fish which is popular in 'Tao' and 'Sushi King' were sold at a damn cheap price here. To think that in Sushi King, 6 Shishamo would cost up to RM5 or something lie that. In Hatyai?Pfft, 70-90 uncooked Shishamos can be bought at only 114 baht/RM 11. And so i purchased 10 Shishamo, requested it to be fried so it can be preserved longer, and it only cost me 14.5 baht/ RM 1.30.

@ Tesco...

Le Shishamo/Capelin...

Le Price...

My share...

Le spices...

RM4 only each...

I just looove fishes...

A tribute to Warren Loh...

Leaving Tesco, I had a taste of Thailand's very own version of Starbucks, that is the Black Canyon Coffee. Almost on par with Starbucks, it only cost 75 baht/ RM7.20. =D And we left for home. I fucking missed my friends and Penang throughout the whole trip.

Black Canyon Coffee Frappe...

Hatyai Trip: Day 1

Hell Yeah! Finally after lazing around for such a long period, i finally decided to pull my pants up and blog. So I went to Thailand with my dad and his 2 friends for a short holiday trip. So we headed off to my dad's friend's place at 6.30 am which is in lip sin. Dad rushed, i got pissed, started swearing, yada yada yada and so on. Went in to my D.F's car ( Dad's Friend ) which was a stunning and comfy Mercedez Bentz and i slept unpeacefully in the car till we reached the borders of Thailand. Had a meal of Loh Mee somewhere before the border to get our visa and purchase insurance for the trip. After getting through the border guards, my D.F realized that the insurance he purchased wasn't there. So he started swearing stuff like 'Fucking Hell!' and 'Kaneh' for his loss and blamed in on the Indonesian Maid who gave it to him. Entertaining? Definitely. =)

*Thai currency : RM 1 = 10.12 baht

At the border...

After entering Thailand, my D.F drove to the state of Hatyai, which was famous for its food and ....'entertainment'. Checking in to our hotel which was the Golden Crown Plaza. Not too shabby, clean toilets and extra friendly workers there. ( especially the bellboy who inquired about me and the receptionist who offered a rambutan on my way back ) LOL!

The hotel lobby...

The staircase...

The room...

Anyways moving on, we headed off in search for their favourite bak kut teh spot which was just a few blocks a way. We walked. After all the excitement talking about the famous bak kut teh which was renowned for its healthiness compared to other bak kut teh stalls, it was closed. Potong Stim x 3. We managed to find a good place to eat which was somewhere along the same block of coffee shops which served Pork Leg Rice. Compared to the Pork Leg Rice stall in my area, this one was really delicious and i savoured every last piece of pork there is. And yes, Hatyai is a heaven for pork lovers, like me. =)

Lunch...

Immediately after the meal, we headed off to a pharmacy to purchase some medicinal ointment for the 'Ancient Thai Massage' we had later on. Dropped by a small stall to purchase coupons for the massage, of all things. Walked down the road a bit more and we reached our much anticipated destination for the day, yes, Sakura Grand View Hotel, and it in which has the Sayuri Ancient Massage Parlour. As we entered the parlour, my D.F immediately shouted, "Sida! Where are you?". I'm assuming its his favorite masseu there. He also added," Gia chi lei sui cha bo hor chi lei siao lien eh". ( Bring a hot girl for this young one over here) To my surprise, 'she' wasn't as young as i expected, in her late 30's i presume. And of course, a potential milf. =) Headed upstairs to the rooms. All four of us were in the same room, which of course, brought forward an atmosphere of awkwardness. The beds were not bad. We removed our clothes, leaving us on with only underwear and an XXL pair of pajamas, only for the lower waist part. The masseus came in, did their job, gave us green tea and we left. The whole process took about 2 hours but the massaging part only came up to 1 1/2. I guess em' masseu's are good at procrastinating as well. Rating the massage, it was alright, not too arousing and slightly painful, which i expected it to be. I endured it all, of course. The worse part was when the masseu penetrated some kind of plastic thingy, as it sounded like, with a little bit of powder as a way of cleaning the ear. I growled in pain and tilted my head against the direction ofthe plastic thingy. I discovered later on that it was only a string of hair. WTF. The payment for the whole '2 hours service' was only 300 baht inclusive of tips, approximately RM30.

The 'service' room...

The payment, with tips...

Close-up payment...

Headed off in our own directions until 7.00 pm where we met up at the entrance of the hotel for dinner together. We had dinner at a restaurant called Sa-Woei. And mind you, it wasn't in walking range. The food was GREAT! Pure authentic Thai food. Comprised of an appetizer and 5 other dishes. And yes, once again we have pork, wild boar to be exact.

Sa-Woei...

Appetizer...

Wild Boar meat in green chili...

'Otak-otak' with lots of seafood...

Tom Yum Soup...

After the glorious meal, we went to carrefour, in search of cheap food to bring back to Penang. Note this, the beer here is extremely cheap! Half the price of what we pay in Malaysia, except for langkawi of course. Heheh. The seafood and vegetables here were bloody cheap as well. I saw a bottle of Chivas for only 890 baht. It came with 4 glass cups that has the words 'Chivas Life' imprinted in orange on them. Tried persuading dad but to no avail, he disagreed. Fuck. Well, got over that fast so nvm.

Carrefour...

Price of 1 big bottle Heineken...

Long tin Heineken...

After window shopping at Carrefour, the guys again went to eat. WTH! They had pork porridge which was surprisingly good as well. See? Pork again. Saw a not bad looking seaside in the coffee shop as well. Heheh. Went back to the hotel to sleep as it was already 11.20 pm.

Makan Time!!

Finally, the long awaited for time for the Fish Club's fruits of labour has come. We decided to cook the fish. Was ok la, had a great time during the whole process, and the best part is....it was random. Went over to Reuben's place around 12 to cook the fish. We had , altogether, my share which consisted of 3 'sai seng's and 4 gelamas, Reuben's share which was 1 'sai seng' and 1 'pek cho', and Yang's share which was one gelama. The whole process is as followed below:

i) De-scale, de-organ and clean all the fishes.

ii) Add salt and let the fishes to dry.

iii) Chop onions.

iv) Play with Reuben's chickens.

v) Fry onions till crispy brown

vi) Play with Olga, Reuben's pet dog.

vii) Fry the fishes.

viii) Throw Reuben's chickens in the air to see them gang bang each other.

ix) Toss, onions, fish and chili sauce into wok and fry it all.

x) Catch cock

xi) Serve & eat

So there we have it, i had fun playing with the chickens, enjoyed eating the fishes and etc etc. Reuben even explained that there is a partnering system between his chic's. However, when u toss up 1 female chicken into the air and when it lands on the ground, there will be a fuck fiesta as the male chickens would give out a loud sound as they made their way onto the rest of the female chickens. The best part is, during the whole process, Ben and i had a long brotherhood talk and bonding session. =D

Feeding the chics...

And itchy cock on the go...

Cooking session...

Eating session...

Cleaning session...

And there we have it, pics to brighten up your day.

To Ning: Sorry i didn't call u. Was late d. Next time ya. =)

To Yang: You'll eat my fish next time. Ha ha

Fishing Trip : 002

Woke up at approximately 5.56 a.m. Was still fucking sleepy at that time and almost fell back asleep.

Calls Yang

* no answer*

Crap.. is he still sleeping? Fughmein, who cares la, he'll wake up eventually. And I took a relaxing bath, prepared the bait, the gear, the rods and etc.

Incoming call

Yang: Sorry was bathing just now...

Kel: Oh ok, thought u were still asleep, coming now?

Yang: Yeah, will be reaching in 15 mins or so...

Yang arrived not long after, and we left for Fishing. After dropping mum at work, we bought a few packets of nasi lemak and headed off to Penang Bowl to fish.
And we arrived...

The place was deserted, nobody around and nobody hogged my 'favourite spot'. GREAT SUCCESS, I thought to myself. And so.... we geared up, set up the rods and started off fishing.
15 minutes passed...

And i succeeded to land my first fish of the day, a gelama. (at least i caught one) Treated myself 2 packets of nasi lemak for breakfast as i was extremely famished at that point. Yang persevered through odds and ends to land his first fish in his LIFE....which was also a gelama. Well what can i say, gelama are THE most common fish in Penang i guess. Can be associated which Magikarp in Pokemon but only doesn't evolve to something huge like Gyarados. (Ahh, how i miss Pokemon)

Well moving on, my first gelama was followed by a small catfish followed by another gelama and finally my happiest moment throughout todays fishing trip was a double catch of a gelama and a large catfish. Quite a nice fight as it took me around 1 min to lay em up. Then while assisting Yang to release his trapped line in the rocks, i managed to snag another one of those tiny muthafuckers. YAGWEH!! Then followed by a 'helicopter fish' and a final gelama.

The seven fishes i landed...

Yang's first fish...

Finally, after snapping his 4th line, Yang gave up as we were pretty exhausted due to all the adrenaline rush.
